My dlink 615 wireless routers connects fine and works for awhile. If I leave my computer for a bit, when I come back it isn't connected and doesn't connect again unless I shut down and restart

This should be related to power management setting or the wireless network adaptor present in the computer.

Access devicemanager (right click on mycomputer and click on Manage).
Click on device manager in the left side of this window
Right side click on the + sign besides network adaptors
Double click on the wireless network adaptor there
In the properties window click on the power management and disable power management for the card.
Now try checking if the issue is rectified.

Constant red light now on my xbox wireless adaptar after working

my first suggestion is check your setting to make sure everything correct. to be sure re-enter everything if you still have problems. I would then check if the adapter can read your router (this can be done by searching for a signal). if the router is found and can connect but failes connecting to internet your router itself may not be connected. make sure your router can connect by itself and that you can connect to internet through the router from your computer. if all these steps are takin try config your router so it will accept incoming signals and that it has the right security for the xbox to connect.

D-link WBR-2310 wont set up. A long time ago when we first bought this router, we had it set up and working fine. We kept getting disconnections every now and then so we bought a new Belkin router, which...

The issue I see is that the lights all are lighting up. I'd bet it is caused by some type of short or like a power outage or surge (remember surge protectors basically do nothing at all). If I were to guess, that's it. Other than that, I would flash the firmware back to original if it lets me.

Hi, did you provide the network key/password when you setup the wireless conection on your computer? Is it detecting your wireless router (you should see your SSID or network name) when you click on your wireless icon (in the taskbar) and chose "show wireless connections". If you can acess to your router via it's configuration page(type the router's default IP address in your browser) you can go check the settings and change the key/passphrase if you dont remember it. If all of this is not working, you can also start from stratch. Reset the router to factory settings (check your manual) then reconfigure it the way you want, put the new infos in your wireless network connections properties and try again. let me know with more specific details if you still cant do it

I cant connect just one network

Be sure that your wireless network is working
Check your wireless router settings
Check if you see any other wireless network available on your computer
Test connection, see if you pulled an IP address
Go to the Windows desktop
Select Start then Run
In the text box type: cmd (WIN98/SE type command)
At the command prompt type: ipconfig
4. What does it read as the IP address?
* If it reads 192.168. something dot something then you are pulling
an IP address and are connected to the network. The problem is
software related, check your firewall, and wireless card configuration.
Also check any WPA or WEP encryption keys. Check with the respective
manufactures.
* If it reads 0.0.0.0 for the IP address you are not connected to the network.
* Check your connection configuration and the adaptor.
* Check with the respective manufactures.
STEP TWO/ Basic troubleshooting continued....Testing the adaptor
1. Go to Windows desktop
2. Select Start then Run
3. In the text box type: cmd (WIN98/SE type command)
A DOS window will open.
4. At the prompt type: ping 127.0.0.1 (reserved IP address for all adaptors)
5. Check the line that reads "packets sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0
A. Zero is good, the adaptor is working. Again check the connection
configuration,and the adaptor configuration.
It may be a power issue especially with older or less expensive computers
or wireless cards.
* Check the antenna location, are you inside or outside, look for interference.
* Check with the respective manufactures.
B. If it reads all 4 packets lost, the adaptor is not functioning.
* Check and update the drivers, Contact the respective manufactures.
* If it shows any number of packets lost (you are dropping packets)
it is an adaptor or signal strength issue (generally form the laptop side,
not being able to reach back) especially with older or less expensive
computers or wireless cards.
* Update the drivers
* Check antenna location, or distance from the signal
* Contact the respective manufactures.

Low signal from my wireless adaptor / router

Have you tried connecting the laptop in a different wireless network? Try changing the channel in your router and you may also upgrade the firmware of your router.

No power led, wlan led blinking

well, what you could try is unplugging the power source from the cable modem, and the router. wait about 1 minute. then plug everything back in and wait.

i remember having this problem as well, but i think the problem with me was that my wireless computer was too far away from the wireless router, not saying that your too far or not, but that what i had, so i just pitched the wireless adapter, and created an ethernet connection. just sharing my experience.
