My dell notebook is not turning on all of sudden

Unplug and leave battery out for 30 minutes, this works on some models.

What does it do, nothing at all, no lights or sounds...or what?

In first place you still have the dell warranty because you have use the notebook for only 6 month, but the explanation that states indicates that your machine has a virus, I suggest to take the machine to a rapair shop. Good luck

Perform the following:

1. Disconnect the AC Adapter.
2. Remove the Battery.
3. Hold the Power button down for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
4. Reconnect the AC adapter and do NOT connect the battery now.
5. Turn on the Notebook power.

If turned on, shut down the Notebook, insert the Battery and turn it on again. That's it.

Cause:
With an extensive use of the notebook, some times notebook would store some static charges which indeed will stop the notebook from powering up or charging the battery.

Performing above procedure will not effect any personal data or delete any pictures from the hard drive on your notebook.

My new dell inspiron 14r laptop with windows 7 is suddenly getting shuts down plz help me

Will it turn back on? is it totally dead now?

Please refer to manual and run system restore to system default settings as if it was from the package.

First hit ctrl-alt-del at the same task manager will open and you can shut it down there then go to control panel and click on add/remove programs, select media direct and click uninstall

i think there is overheating problem try taking to a repairing center, if there is the problem in mother board it may charge upto (3,000-4,000 Indian Currency) now it depends on you what u think

Problem cause:

Do diagnose your Laptop try to change your battery or adapter if you have some backup device

This could be a heat issue. Make sure that nothing ( eg dust) is blocking the air vents.
