Try replacing the compressor relay ,if this doesn't solve the problem , the compressor is bad ; but before do anything make sure the condensing fan works ( if doesn't replace it) and the coil is clean.

Freezer is making a loud noise. sounds like the motor. GSS201EMA

inside the compressor there are springs which prevent the motor from banging against the case. If one of them breaks the compressor will make quite a bit of noise, It doesn't affect function but is very annoying.

My fridge is making a lot of noise. It does not stop. What might the problem be? Model# 2539668010 Serial# BA62202425

This is a basic no frills refrigerator so that things that can make a lot of noise is limited. And where you say it doesn't stop, then it is most likely a fan. You have two one in the freezer compartment that could have accumulated some ice on the blades which could through it out of alignment. So it might be hitting the sides of the case.

The other fan is underneath your cabinet, and blows air across the compressor, and condenser coil. If there is a lot of lint or debie in this area then the fan blades could be come coated and then the out of balance condition could cause noise.

If a cleaning doesn't fix the problem then you will probably have to replace the fan blades and motor.

I have a chrysler town and country and it is overheating... there is a knocking noise under the dash behind the a/c an radio... the heater doesnt work all the time either what do i need to do fix it?

check the coolant level as a low level can cause overheating and a knocking noise in the heater box as air is in the system causing the noise and no heat.change the thermostat and refill the system and make sure all the air is out of the system and the overflow bottle is at the full mark.it could also be a bad head gasket that should be checked with a block test if the above doesn`t fix problem.make sure the cooling fan is working properly at the radiator.

Freezer is not working. Loud humming noise.

You would need to pull the unit away from the wall to verify this but it could be that your compressor is not starting as it should. This could cause serious overheating of it too. The compressor should be visible from the rear and it will be close to the floor.

Motor making loud humming noises and kicks out. Could this be a capacitor on the motor going bad ? This doesn"t happen all the time, but frequency is increasing.

this is the motor overheating and, the overload shutting down the motor: check to see if the motor belt is binding

Fridge keeps making "clicking" noise and will not get very cold

the clicking noise is probably the unit trying to start but it cant because its too overheated, try turning it off for about 30 minutes to cool the compressor down, then put the thermostat at 3 for the fridge and not the coldest for the freezer and leave it there for a few hours to stabalize the temperature and see what happens.

Samsung american style fridge/freezer needs repairing

Spray a good quantity of WD-40 on the spindle of the fan motor where it enters the motor itself. This should get the fan working smoothly with no noise. This will probably solve the other problems, as the fan prevents various components from overheating and shutting down.
