Staining on LCD tv screen

I think it is more than a Kool-Aid stain. likely it was some kind of heat applied to the screen causing physical damage. How does it appear when the screen is white?

I've seen a few of these.
They don't seem to be an indicator that the set is going to fail soon. The only fix seems to be to replace the screen but that is more cost than replacing the whole TV.

I assume this stain is internal? From your description it sounds like a flaw or fault within the screen. The only solution would be to replace the screen

your LCD panel is damaged, if it is only a year old it should be under warranty, it needs to be repalced.

If the stain is irregular and static that is a faulty LCD display. The repair is expensive. Contact Polaroid at the number listed on owners manual as the TV has one year factory warranty cover.

If it looks like a big stain usually that means some of the liquid crystalline is leaking, you can't clean it. You'll have to replace the lcd in order to fix the problem.

After removing the power from TV remove the back of the TV (bottom only): Repair: Re-insert PDM connector on both Main Digital module and Drive PWB.

I don't quite understand the problem - are you asking how to fix the spilt? How to fit a new screen? How to get Samsung to repair? You need to be clearer!

THIS IS THE WAY YOU CLEAN YOUR SCREEN. IT IS VERY EASY AND FAST, AND YOU SHOULD HAVE THE SOLUTION IN YOUR KITCHEN AND BATHROOM. TAKE THE CLEANEST, MOST SOFT CLOTH YOU HAVE IN YOUR HOUSE. DAMPEN,NOT SOAK IT, WITH WATER, AND LIGHTLY RUB A SMALL SECTION OF THIS STAIN, AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
