What I suggest you do first is uninstall prior graphics software then, download the latest driver here:

Now, you have TWO video-cards in your computer.
Either remove the "old" video-card,
or enter BIOS SETUP, and configure your computer to indicate which is the "primary" and which is the "secondary" video-adapter.
Or, within BIOS SETUP, just "disable" the "old' one.

Setting up dual monitors with NVIDIA 7300 GS Graphics Adapter

so...
your computer don't recognize your nvidia graphic card in PCI Express slot.
you are runing now with computer's integrated graphic card?
if so then you won't have dualview option. in this case it looks for me like you've installed in the wrong way your graphic card.

your NV GeForce 7300 GS has 2 video output?
if yes then you should have the option for 2 monitors on nVIDIA control panel (i have check my nVIDIA GeForce 7600gt and in my case this option is present but is enabled only if i connect the second monitor, so try do so)

you have installed the latest nVIDIA drivers from the official website? http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

check if your video card is corect installed start/run type in " devmgmt.msc ". it will open device manager and under the display adapter tab you should see what video card you use now.

Added a ge force 8400 gs pci grfx card to hp a6120n monitor

Alright, let's give this a shot. Your system can handle it as the card only needs 71W of power.

Right-click your desktop and go to properties.

Screenshot.

Afterward select the tab at the top reading, "Settings."

Screenshot.

Now select your new video card in the, "Display" region and choose the device to be your, "Primary Monitor."

Screenshot.

Afterward try plugging the monitor into your new graphics card. It should work just fine.

Ge force 7200 GS /512 MB

You can always download the latest drivers from Nvidia at www.nvidia.com. Click the "download drivers" tab at the top of the page and fill in the information about your card. This way you'll have the newest software.

Nvidia geforce 7300 GS tv-out

well...the 7300 GS is not quite a powerfull board.
frst it may be a problem if the card really support the tv out..
However,if it is just a driver/codec problem,I suggest you to reinstal the windows.the drivers and codecs which you repetedly used can harm your windows registers.
after all this,if the problem persists, you can try instaling and older version of Nvidia driver..many times this old drivers work better..
bye
