Is there any motor noise? Any clue if the mortor is running but the drum is not turning? Your drum belt is broke or has fallen off. Either way you have to replace your drum belt.

I can hear the hot watre dripping into the washing machine when it is turned off

see this cause:
It spins, but doesn't pump
drain line clogged, +remove some sock with pliers maybe you can remove the agitator+pumps propeller defective.
It doesn't spin or pump
frozen pulley pump, replace the pump
It pumps, but the water returns
improve the drain line+if the drain line reach more 4 inches, cut of the excess. if is lower, install air/gap siphon break assembly.

God bless you

Whirlpool gas dryer (LGR8648PW1) doesn't stop spinning in automatic mode.

More than likely a bad timer assembly. They are usually easy enough to replace if you have basic mechanical skills. The part can be ordered from repairclinic.com.

My compressor goes on, but the fan doesn't turn and the top of the fan housing gets hot.

Hello, try to use a thin object and spin the fan blade, if this getsnthe fan going then most likely the capacitor is bad and must be replaced. If this does not get the fan going then the motor is shot.

Car runs great for 10 minutes then shuts off and has to set about an hour before restarting and will only spin over yet has spark and fuel pressure

This sounds like a bad control module, run the car until it dies then remove a sparkplug wire from a sparkplug and stick a screwdriver into it and place it near a ground then have someone spin the key as you watch for spark, if theres no spark then i would say its a bad ignition control module. this is common, when it gets hot is dies out, you can even remove it and have it tested at an auto parts store just make sure they test it a few times to get it hot. good day.

I have a 2001 yard machine riding mower that cuts off when it gets warm and has no electric

Symptoms would lead me to the coil. They get hot, and die. If it doesn't re-start hot but will after cooling down then its a 99% coil issue

Also after it shuts down and u turn the key to try to start it back up is the starter engaging and trying to spin the motor or are you getting nothing.
If the starter isn't doing anything it could be the starter or relay between ignition switch and starter.
If the starter is engaging and the motor is trying to turn over it could a weak starter or it could be a build up of compression not letting the starter spin it over that a valve adjustment would help. The temp change from cold to hot is sometimes enough make the valves expand and not open enough to release compression for start up.

The compressor is running and the fan is running but it is not cooling. The refrigerator runs and stops like normal. Last time we had it checked the repair guy said it was the fan not spinning fast enough...

On the refrigerator and after sometime hold the condenser to see if it is hot, if it doesn't become hot then there is no refrigerant in the system there must be a leakage somewhere or it could be the compressor which is losing compression or doesn't pump well.

Dryer doesn;t spin

Sounds like the belt has broken. The terrible noise was probably the belt slipping until it gained traction.
