Hi, Have you tried contacting Insignia. They may provide you with a download link for the drivers/software you need.
You should be able to connect your player even without the software. Windows should detect it once the USB is plugged in. Just drag and drop the songs you want onto the device.
For the Insignia NS-DA1G, NS-DA2G, KIX, NS-DV2G, NS-DV4G:
These units come set to a FAT formatting. If you have changed this to NTFS or DOS, you will cause problems with your player. Be sure it is formatted correctly.
If you have formatted your player to FAT (recommended), FAT-16, or FAT-32, try using the software reset in the MENU - Settings area of the players internal software.
