Drivers can be downloaded via InsigniaProducts.com, under the Support tab, including software necessary to upload music to your player.

depending on the software you have, thats probably affecting the way your mp3 is running. windows media has worked for me.

Have you tried contacting Insignia. They may provide you with a download link for the drivers/software you need.

You should be able to connect your player even without the software. Windows should detect it once the USB is plugged in. Just drag and drop the songs you want onto the device.

This can be a problem with your USB capabilities in your computer.

If you are using your front USB ports, it is possible they are underpowered. Try switching to the rear USB ports.

You can also try a self-powered USB Hub to improve performance or purchase a USB 2.0 card for your system.

It could be something as simple as a bad USB cable. That would be the cheapest place to start...next to trying the rear USB ports.

first you need to connect it to the computer...
then download mp3 player..Like Itunes software.. I used it before to the ipod.. device try it....

For the Insignia NS-DA1G, NS-DA2G, KIX, NS-DV2G, NS-DV4G:

These units come set to a FAT formatting. If you have changed this to NTFS or DOS, you will cause problems with your player. Be sure it is formatted correctly.

If you have formatted your player to FAT (recommended), FAT-16, or FAT-32, try using the software reset in the MENU - Settings area of the players internal software.

There might be a little switch that says "hold". Make sure it is not at the "hold" end.
