Can I use the AVC system of a Sharp LC 30HV4U on a LC 37HV4U TV

I have a Sharp Aquos LC 37HV4U but I don't have the AVC system. The screen is still fine. I might be able to get an AVC system from a LC 30HV4U model. Would that AVC box be compatible with my 37" screen.

I have to agree with the cable, but trying a little compressed air on the fittings of both the cable and the port may help alleviate this issue. Give that a try before replacement.

MY SHARP LC 30H4U THE AVC SYSTEM TURNS ON, BUT NOT THE SCREEN. I DON'T GET ANY PICTURE OR ANYTHING.

The problem of your television is the backlight. There's no supply cause of loose connection in the connector of the backlight. Its better to check the connection of the backlight at the driver power supply.Thanks..

The monitor will not work without the AVC box.
Do you still have the monitor? Is it in good condition? Would you be willing to sell it? If so, please email me at [email protected]

The screen and the module both are showing red lights . The screen will not show a picture and I have tried to reset. Any options?

Press the VOL+ and Channel - button on the set and than the power button while holding the two buttons.
If the set starts then the fault is the error counter wich must be reset to 0. Max is 5 faults,if a sixth error is measured the set stops.

Sharp Aquous will not turn on.

I would check the System Cable that is linking the box to the TV. Then, press the small button called CLEAR in the front of the box. The button should be behind the flip cover on the front right below the PC input ports.
Let me know if this solution works.

Sharp LC-37HV4U

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.

Display powers of with power up of AVC

This is the problem with my LC-37HV4U. I plug in the AVC and the tv/monitor and I get both red power lights (not blinking) but no green lights, sound, or picture. I mean the tv screen stays black! It seems like their is no communication between the AVC and the monitor. I thought at least the screen would light up when the power light came on and being it has it's own power source. This tv is driving me nuts!! Can anyone please help?? Thank you.
