A new bulb has been replaced. The red power light flashes 3 times, pauses, then flases 3 times. You get the idea?
Are you SURE that the lamp door switch is properly in place?? This sounds like a problem of this type. If this is Ok, and the lamp does NOT try and strike, check to see if the fans are starting. if they try and start, and then the set shuts down, one of the fans is bad or clogged with dirt. If NOTHING happens but the 3 blink code and the door switch is ok--perhaps the thermal sensor above the lamp has opened, due to excess heat and/or poor ventilation.
