When i load my compaq presario 1245 it stops when the white loading bar reaches the end and its does nothing from there not even in safe mode

Try starting the computer in safe mode. Turn on the computer and once the COMPAQ screen clears press F8 a few times - don't hold down the key however. Winodws stops loading at teh Startup Options screen (black, text only). From that menu use the cursor keys and ENTER to select "Safe Mode". Once Windows loads (it may look humungous!), login as the Administrator (which should now be visible). Use this account to reset your forgotten user password. Restart once complete - the computer will automatically start normally.

Please restart the computer and repeatedly tap the F8 key (you need to press F8 before windows starts to load)

A menu should appear. Select Safe Mode and press Enter

Let me know if it able to start in safe mode

Kindly reinstall the operating system. By choosing the repair option.

It can't be done trust me. You may need to boot to safe mode by pressing either F12 or F8 before windows loads to boot the safe mode. Some type of driver is trying to load on boot up the machine doesn't like that is causing your error.

I had this happen to a fairly new machine that it ended up being the video driver/card.

Try to repair the windows,
use the windows installer and select the repair option to recover the previous windows that was running normally.

your OS is damaged.. try installing a new one.

Have you tested your harddrive to make sure it's working properly,or you are maybe missing ntldr

this problem may due to virus , so better you reinstall your system

i m sure its some kind of maser problem with u r system...
because at the 1st time when u select safe mode it should work .....i think some big data dammage have made....and now u are unable to recover it....

so my suggession is that u can re install win xp on u r computer..

power on ur laptop
then press F8 untill u see a black and white screen
now select safe mode and then copy the dvd
