Copier do not function

Something similar to this:

1. In standby mode,press the "Settings/Registration" key.
2. Press the"Reset" key.
3. Press the"Back" key.
4. Press the"Settings / Registration" key.
5. The service modescreen is displayed.
6. Scroll to Printerthen choose Clear
Use the"Back" key to exit Service Mode

CauseCommunication error between ADF CONTROLLER and MEMORY PCB.

Action

1. Reseat the cable going from the ADF CONTROLLER to MEMORY PCB.
2. If E400 is still present it has been found that replacing the ADF Controller (FM3-0370-000) or MEMORY PCB (FM3-0472-000 / New PN: FM3-4436-000) may be necessary.
3. If symptom persists, replace the DF-RD26 Shield Cable (FK2-5118-000).

Go online with make and model and search or go to the TORO web site or find a local service centre and ask there.

C 3102 - Communication sistem setting error.To reset :
Turn OFF the copier,keep pressed Utility/Function key and turn ON.Keep pressed the Utility key when Trouble reset message apaire on screen.Touch the message,turn OFF ,wait 1 minutes and turn ON.
If the code persist remove the fusing unit and under fuser unit in right side upper is located 2 sensors under plastic knob.Clean the 2 sensors.

Symptom

E064 is indicated on the control panel. The error description is: The presence of a high voltage error is communicated by the composite power supply. The output for primary charging, developing, or transfer has deviated from a specific level of voltage.

Cause
* Adjustments in Service Mode are Incorrect
* Transport Assembly is Not Engaging Properly
* Dirty HVT Contacts for Developing Assembly and Charging Rollers
* A Paper Clip on HVT Contacts or Developing Assembly
* Faulty Transfer Roller
* Faulty Static Charge Eliminator
* Defective Composite Power Supply
* Defective DC Controller PCB Assembly

Action

1. Check the values in Service Mode and make sure they correspond to the Service
Label. If the copier receives a spike or surge through the 240V line these values can change (can also give you blank copies). Take particular note of the Dev Bias
setting. [COPIER > ADJUST > DEVELOP > DE-DC]
2. Make sure the Transport Assembly is engaging properly. The Transfer Roller should
make good contact with the drum. Check condition of screw (XB6-7501-007) and
Pressure Plates (FB5-4816-000 & FB5-4817-000) for the Transport Assembly.
3. Clean HVT contacts for Primary/ Transfer Charging Rollers and Developing
Assembly. Inspect for any paper clips.
4. Replace the Transfer Roller (FF6-0104-000).
5. Replace the Static Charge Eliminator (FF5-7246-000).
6. Replace Composite Power Supply followed by DC Controller PCB Assembly

turn onn the mechine press star button of additional function and press 2 then 8 for same time then press star select copier option then function then clear then err then ok restart the mechine it will work

This is the code for the cleaning web in the fuser. This will have to be replaced ( P/N FY1-1046-000 ). The error code has to be reset my going into the service mode. Press additional functions, then 2 and 8 keys at the same time, then additional functions. Press copier, then COUNTER, then MISC, then FIX-WEB, Then the Clear key on the control panel. The counter should go to all "0's. I believe you have to turn off the main power key and power up but I'm not sure.

press additional function 2 , 8 and additional function
then touch on copier,
touch in function
touch on clear
touch on ERR press ok.
touch on DCON press ok
touch on RCON press ok.
press reset button 4 times
and restart machine

try this solution: enter service mode by pressing *(additional function) then2 and 8 together and then again * select copier on screen>function>clear>error>ok. turn off the machine and re-start.

Solution :
Reseat the ribbon cables between the Reader Controller and the Interface PCB (FH2-6984-000 & FH2-6983-000. If the problem persists, replace the Reader Controller PCB (FG3-2570-000), and the Interface PCB (FM2-0036-000) at the same time. Canon USA, Inc. Systems & Technical Support Division
