I have bought a second hand PDT3100 se823000. It has installed a program I do not need. I need to read bardodes with format 111111.11 That's all. How can I make this PDT reader just a reader of barcodes ? and how can I download the data and clean the the PDT so I can start reading again ?. Is there a basic application I can download and configure ?.... Thanks!

I just bought a Moving Star external hard drive for my Mac laptop. It came with a driver installation disc, but the CD is too small and wont be taken in by my disc drive. I am afraid to put the install...

I would be tempted to format the drive using the disk utility whch can be found under applications and then utilities once opened choose your drive in the left hand window and the on the right hand side click on erase. Choose your volume format and name and then erase. Hope this helps.

Have just bought an 80 gig hard drive second hand i have formated it but it says its only a 31.4 gig

there could be 2 things wrong 1 is that there are to many bad sectors on the harddrive to read 80g

or they sold you a 30gig hard drive

what you can do is look for a card reader that your memory stick can be read, after, you can plug that to your computer and simply format it.

you can format your pc using the winxp installation cd, most of the drivers needed by by your motherboard are supported by this operating system defending on your type of motherboard. just in case you formatted and seen in your device manager with devices with no drivers then you can easily download to the internet for support.

I would like to suggest since you are approaching to GUI enviroment you need to develop system build by visual basic using MSCOMM control by sending and receiving data between PDT3100 and PC.
