How do you use the scanner on an epxon sx105 - Epson Stylus Multifunction Inkjet Printer/ Copier/ Scanner

Did you ever get a resolution to your problem? I have exactly the same problem with same error message - and very loud clicking noises coming from the scanner. Powering it down - allowing it to "cool" for 5 minutes will get probably 1 or 2 documents through the scanner before the error message reappears. But this is only a workaround rather than a solution.
