My dell xps m1330 used to play dvds just fine until recently when all of a sudden the picture was still fine, but the sound was disrupting and breaking up.this has happened once before, but after a week or so everything went back to normal. Now, a few months later it has occured again but unfortunately it didnt fix itself again. any tips??

Try to restore windows to the point when it was working fine with the audio. check if this fix the problem if not then do a clean install of your windows. make sure to back up files first.

I cant get my disk out of my xps m1330 laptop what do I do?

Have you tried using the Eject button on the controls above the Function keys on your Dell XPS M1330 laptop to eject the disk from the optical drive?

If the above does not solve the problem then you may need to refer to the Service Manual for your XPS M1330 which has information on how to remove and replace the Optical drive if this has failed.

I recently reinstalled my Vista OS on a Dell XPS m1330 laptop, and now I cannot connect to a second monitor, nor will the built-in speakers make sound. The only monitor option available in Display Settings...

You need to check the device manager for any "!" symbols. They are most likely there for your audio and video drivers. This means that the current drivers installed are not compatible. See below for the correct drivers.

It can be either the display is dead or it is a loose connection. If you are still covered by warranty then I would suggest you to contact the dell technical support. They will replace the part for you.
However if you don't have a warranty then you can buy this part from dell online store (the display) and you can fix it on your own - http://ahwee.com/how-to-disassemble-laptop-dell-xps-m1330 follow the instructions here to dismantle your laptop and refix it with the new parts.
