Use an Ethernet cable to connect from one of the LAN ports on the router to the network port on your computer.
Click Start
Click Run
Type CMD
Press Enter
Type IPCONFIG /RENEW
Press Enter
Look for output like: Default Gateway ... 192.168.1.234
Start Internet Explorer
Type http://192.168.1.234
Press Enter
Use the ID/password for the router to login to the router's web-interface.
Click to access the configuration wizards.

scroll to the bottom toolbar (bottom of screen) right click you will select task manager application you will see whats running on your computer also users you will see who is using your computer

If you're wireless network is secured you will need the network key to attach your PS3 to the network. If you cannot access the router's configuration page via a web browser because you have forgotten the password, you can reset the router back to factory settings by holding in the recessed button on the rear of the router for about 30 seconds. I would check with anyone else in the household before resetting the router, as they will no longer be able to connect to the wireless network once you've reset.

Make sure you have the most up to date drivers for both your mini usb adapter and your router.

The 64 bit version of windows 7 may not have the right driver for your equipment.

this is a Dlink software bloqued, need to reset( push the reset buton more than 10 sec) the router, and config again. Caution change all router passw every 30 days or less.

access the router home page usuall somthing along the kines http://192.168.1.1

you will also need the admin password if it was set or the default password if it was not.

The default password is always in the manual.

Then once you are in you can go to the ireless settings page and copy the key setting from there

if it is a wireless router (no modem functions), then you would need to have it connected to your modem so you could set it up as your access point.

You need to update the firmware of your router for this feature to work.
