Hello, I dropped my iphone in a pool. Got it out, put it on rice and used a hairdryer. It works fine, nothing is wrong except the screen is 'whiter' than usual. Everything in the phone is fine, apps, wi-fi, 3G, calls, etc. Any ideas?
I have a picutre of it but I dont see where I cant attach it.

open it up and take out the battery then put it in a plastic bag of dry rice seal it up. This works to dry the unit out. u may have to leave it in bag for a couple days. My son dropped my iphone in a sink of water and would not work I put it in rice for 3 days and now it works fine.
You should probably wait for a few days to ensure it's completely dry on the inside. I have heard other folks suggest that putting the phone in a bowl of white rice for a few days is a great way to dry it out. The rice will absorb the moisture.
Did the case cover the entire phone or just the sides and back like most?
Hi, You did get moisture in there... Place the phone in a bag of rice.. for a couple of days... it may pull enough of the moisture out so that it will work again...but you may have already ruined it by turning it on... Try the rice trick... it may help you out...
your screen have been affected with water. When you accidentally drop your phone in water, DO NOT turn the phone on yet instead put the phone in a bag of rice, the rice helps to seep water. Since you turned on the phone already, there is nothing to do but get the phone repaired or replaced.
When phone gets wet NEVER try to turn it on. Take battery out right away shake water off and put both in bowl of rice for at least 24 hrs. If your not home or don't have rice right away take battery out and get some. We have a bowl of rice on the counter all summer long for those who jump in the pool with phone in their pocket. I have washed them dropped them in the toilet my son jumped in pool with his phone, put it rice for 24 hrs and we were up and running with the exception of the one in the pool, that one cost me new battery on Ebay ($4.95) but phone worked fine, didn't even lose contacts or pictures. But the key is to NOT try to turn it on after its been wet. Water and batteries don't mix.
You shud remove the battery and use your hairdryer without heat on it and dryup all the water traces and moisture. Try it many times. And then put the battery back and switch it on and see it work.
