Is the monitor "known good"? Hook up to "known good" PC to determine.
Based on your description, I would first suspect the video card as opposed to either the motherboard (MB) or power supply unit (PSU):
Either place a "known good" video card in the target system, or extract target system's video card and install in "known "good" PC to determine.

Yes, monitor was good up until the no boot, no beep etc. showed up. Yes, swapped the video card to last used but good card. Called Corsair - Tech said unlikely it's the PSU - gave it their u-shaped paper clip test. PSU has built-in fail-safes to prevent other HW issues.
Tried the CMOS reset - nada. Seems like a dead MB.
