The first time should be on the average of 20-25 minutes. If your samsung is taking longer than 30 minutes, it indicates there is a problem. Fiscally look in the ice tray and verify the water is in there. If not, check and make sure the water line to the unit is connected and the water is supplied to the line. If the water is in the ice tray, then make sure your fill lever is in the down position. This lever is designed to stop making ice when the ice bin is full. If the lever is up, it will stop making ice.

The tube in the door is kinked. You will have to replace it.

if its on thr\e inside then its hitting ice, thaw out the unit and then turn back on. easy way is to use a shop vac and thaw out the unit.

check the very back of the ice maker and see if the piece that holds the rear portion of the ice maker has broken into little pieces causing the tray not to flip. the piece costs around 12 dollars and should be available for the unit that you are talking about. Remove the drawer containing the Ice cubes , and blow a hair on the pipe where the water come in. If it wasn't used for 4 weeks perhaps the nozzle in the inlet pipe froze. Then put the empty drawer back in so the ice maker thinks it needs to make ice and see if it will work

You have to pull out the sensor from the board and test with tester, both sensor should read the resistance of 10,000 to 20,000 ohms. The reading that you show is very low it means that the thermistor is out of range and need replacement.

Is it a frost build up or ... ICE.. and IF ice where is it at?
