You need to replace the coupler which couples the transmission to the drum. It appears the coupler doesn't have the grip to spin the drum at full speed. (read slipping) It is an easy fix. This is normal over time, however, the wear can be accelerated by overloading the wash drum as it causes a strain on the coupler during the spin cycle. The coupler is made from hardened rubber, much like an auto tire. Any appliance store should be able to make a coupler available. They should be under $20. Cheers, Luigi

this is a three piece part, it sits between the transmission, and the motor and controls the speed
just by being in place..
