just clean your cartridge..align it properly when you it back..surely it put properly.

This just happened to me! I found this fixya and it didn't help me. So I checked the status of the printer and it was trying to print some 3,000 envelopes, OOPS!!! Needless to say I cancelled the job but it still had to go through all of the pages before cancelling and finally stopped blinking!

This light sequence means that the printer is ready to receive and process data but it is in Power Saver mode.

If a print job is sent, Press Continue to print the menu settings pages for a list of current printer settings. You may also Press and hold Cancel to reset the printer.

The Power Light (Green) is blinking means a lot of things, like the printer is out of paper, there is a paper jam, the top cover is open and other, you can see a detailed article about this issues, on the vendor's site. Kindly navigate to this link and follow the steps to resolve the issue. Test the problems one by one.

It is problem in mechanical.May be any paper stuck or any sensor displace.So you need service your printer.Keep your mind green lid blinking mean printer busy.also check printer black cartridge.

That is a service error code, but you need to count how many blinks between the longer green blink, and that tells the error code...

when you said a green light was blinking was it the power light or another green light on the printer?

This exact thing just happened to me. I tried EVERYTHING in the way of troubleshooting - turned printer off/on, plugged/unplugged, opened/closed top, pressed all the buttons on the front right - FINALLY, I took out and put back in both ink cartridges and the light finally went to just green, as it should be AND it printed! Hope this helps!
