How do I create/set up the IP address for a toshiba estudio 353 copy/fax/scan unit?

Is paper jam error...Some sensor not good causing the machine cannot return to ready mode...Nothing to do with the firmware...
Anyhow, can go below website to look for firmwares.

when you scan from e studio 2040c platen glass top it saves in the machine hard disk .It can be acessed by typing in the command line the ip address of the machine. with two backslash ip address backslash.for example the ip address of m aching is 192.168.2.10 then you have to type \\192.168/2.10\ .the folder named file share will be displayed on the pc and you can open by double-clicking it.....R Murali ([email protected])

you must connect the machine with you're computer.you want the fax you must check the you're photocopy machine have a fax board.you want the scan & printing connect the photocopy machine to the computer.(network cable)

In order to allow the e-353 to scan to eMail, and PC, you must have an enabler (Scan, or Scan and Print), either on will allow you utilize the scanning function through network(PC and copier must be in the same subset).

Or you can use the USB connection, just install the unity from the CD, or download it from Toshiba.com

Choose the e-bridge full installer, burn the ISO image to a CD.

Click the "Edit" tab, make sure the "SADF" is not enable...

the reason the printer button dont work can be several things have you got the printer boards and snanner board fitted if so hte reason it cant connect is you also need fthe gateway address .. this is the ip of the router..the signal for printing has to pass through this to and from the computer to the network card in the copier..

You have to have the USB stick to enable the scan.
It locates on the right side near the back of the machine.
They make , print dongles, Scan dongles and print scan dongles. But that USB device enables scan.
