Your water level switch is stuck. Probably due to soap scum in the air dome line. Remove the control console screws to access the water level switch. Remove the small plastic hose from the water level switch and blow through it to dislodge the blockage. If it is difficult to blow through, remove the front panel and take the hose off at the air dome on the side of the tub. Push a small wire into the air dome to clear the clog. Replace the hose on both ends. Set the timer for SPIN and run a spin cycle. Then retry the water level fill. If it does not fill correctly, replace the water level switch.
sounds like the pressure switch line is plugged. remove the front panel by inserting a putty knife between the front panel and the main top an inch or so from either side to release the locking tabs. the clear tube to the left side needs to be removed and cleaned thoroughly, while the tube is removed begin filling the unit with hot water untill water comes out of the spout the tube came off of. reinstall the tube and test to make sure the water level shuts off at all levels. the largest level should stop right around the top level of tub holes.
suspect water level control they call it a pressure switch

where three wires are hooked before removing part or
change 1 wire at a time to avoid mixing up wiring
You can a defective water level switch or a clogged air line going to the switch. Open the control panel to access the water level switch. Remove the hose from the water level switch and blow through it. Blow very hard until it is clear. Replace the hose on the switch. Set the machine to spin and turn it on. Let it spin for 1 minute. Turn it off then back to fill. If it does not work OK then, replace the water level switch.
The air tube coming off the side of the drum was clogged. I cut off about 4 inches of tubing and reattatched it. The sensor then picked up how much water was in the drum and functioned perfectly. I had a lady tell me I needed an $88 timer. But I found that even with a new water level switch if the tube has a loose fit or hole or is clogged the WLS wont function. Check the $4.50 tube before you buy a $88 dollar timer that has nothing to do with it. I read that here somewhere. Where ever it was thanks!
You have a bad water level switch or a clogged plastic hose that goes to the water level switch.
Use a putty knife to open the front panel. The clips are at the top right and left sides just below the top lid. Push in on the clips and pull out on the panel.
On the left side of the tub you will see the air dome with aplastic hose connected.
Remove the hose and insert a small wire into the air dome hole to clean it out ouf soap scum. Then, blow through the hose and listen for a faint click in the water level switch. Also check the hose for a hole or being pinched.
The set the timer for spin and run a spin cycle then retry the water level and wash cycle.
Remove the plastic hose from the water level switch and blow through it until it flows freely.
If it does not clear this way. Remove the front panel.putty knife needed.
Remove the water level tube from the tub and clean out the gunk.
Reconnect it to the water level switch.
Set the machine to spin and run it.
Reset water level control and try your machine.
you may need to clean out the pressure tube that runs from the left side of the tub to the water level switch. take off the front panel to inspect. use a butter knife or putty knife and push strait in.
