Apex AD-800 DVD Player, I have a problem

Hello there and welcome to FixYa. Below is a list of codes for your particular model I have compiled for you.

0672, 0717, 0755, 0794, 0795, 0796

If by any chance your remote only accepts three digit codes just subtract the first zero off the codes. I hope you found this helpful and good luck.

It may take a few moments to load, it's 25 pages long.

Couple things to try (I always try the simplest fixes first):

• Try changing the input on the VCR
• Double-check connections to make sure secure and in right spots
• Hook the DVD player straight to TV and see if it works that way (Some copy protected DVDs don't like being run through recording devices.)
• Reset dvd player - maybe a setting got changed (Output set to DVI for example)

Hopefully one of those will fix, if not, comment back and we'll dig deeper.

If you go to the system menu there should be a place under settings where it says Reset or Restore Default settings. Hope this helped. =)
