You can download Ares or Limewire there is some other programs out ther but these are the ones I had experience with.

-Plug in your mp3 player

-Go into 'Limewire/Ares', select a song and go 'Locate file/Open Containg Folder', you should be in your folder with all your songs. or go 'My Music' and find your music files.

-Either select all your songs, open them with 'Windows Media Player' or the program provided and transfer them that way.

-Or 'Open My Computer' then open 'Whistler Mp3805' [something along those lines" and drag the songs from where your songs are located [My Music] to the 'Music' folder in your Whistler 3805 folder.

[MyMusic] Song.mp3 >drag to> [MyComputer/Whistler Mp3805] Music.

Hi i dont know how to download music on my gpx mp3 player.how do i do that?

Usually copying over music manually works for mp3 players such as this one but you can use a program to do that. iTunes, Songbird, Windows Media Player and a plethora of other free music management programs work. Find one that you prefer using and use it to sync the music on your computer to your mp3 player.

I just received my mp3 player and do not know how to download music to it.THANK YOU

Every mp3 player is different - we would need to know your manufacturer and model # to be sure. A good place to start is the user manual - if one did not come with your player, you can go to the manufacturer's website to get it. Generally, you need a music service or CD to grab songs from, a transfer program (different for every player), and your mp3 player. That is the best help I can give you without knowing exactly which player you have.

Looking for driver

If you have Windows XP or later, your computer should have gotten the driver automatically. If your computer recognizes the device and you are able to transfer music to it, then the driver is working fine. However, recording music requires additional software. A popular, free recording program is Audacity. You can record music with this program, save it to an mp3 and transfer it to your mp3 player. I hope this is what you are looking for!

I would like to know how to load music from a cd to my MP3 player

My husband says some times the simple solution is the best. Try this, it worked for me.
1) download your music to your computer in mp3 format (when your program asks 'SAVE AS' you pick MP3 forrmat.
2) import the music to the MP3 program from the program you downloaded to
3) import to your player.

Vista not compatible with rhapsody.

I use Rhapsody with Vista. You need to go to Rhapsody's website (or Best Buy Digital Music Store, which runs the same software) and download the updated version, which will work just fine.

Purchased music from iTunes can be put on Sansa players as well when you set-up Rhapsody to manage your music. Have the program detect your music library and then all you have to do is drag and drop to your MP3 player.
