There is no known region hack for this model.

Symphonic players are built by Funai.

I am reporting region hacks for different Funai models.
The procedures below may not work, but that is all the information available.
I suggest contacting Funai and asking region hack for the correspondent model Funai WV806:www.funai-corp.com/6pdf/om/WV806.pdf.

Models SV2000 WV10D6:

1) Hit CS
2) 2,5,1
then the menus appear. You will notice a selection of self test info that can be used to test the player, confirm the firmware both Front End & Back End, upgrade the firm ware as well as numerous other test modes.

3)Exiting the screens and returning to normal mode:

Changing Region code:

Hit CS
Then 6,5,0 for all region .

From Videohelp.

Funai FDRV90E:

using the remote; press cm-skip, cm-skip, 5, 1
gives an info screen with many test options and displays
region code etc. I can not find a way to edit the screen
with the region code

From Videohelp.

If the hacks do not work, Try contacting Funai: Contact Funai Customer Support.

How can i run a disc which does not match the region code with my x-box 260 console

Well first,

Anything you would have to do make a region-free console would void the warranty. If you are not worried about that, there is a way involving installing user created firmware that is modified to remove the region restriction put on your console.

Check this website for more information.

http://digiex.net/downloads/download-center-2-0/xbox-360-content/apps/3133-xbox-360-game-hack-5-2-remove-region-media-protection-360-games.html

Also, keep in mind that whatever done to your system is done at your own risk since it voids the warranty.

Hi, I have a sony dav-sc8 dvd home theatre system and would likt to know if there is a way to make it multi region

These are the commands for the DAV-300 but hopefully they are the same for yours...hope it helps.
Region 0 is what you want, but here's all the commands for the 300 which hopefully work on the sc8 as well.

Put your player into "Standby" Mode and enter one of the following commands if
necessary,
: Remote control command Function
: [0] [RETURN] Default Default region code on the player
: [1] [RETURN] Region 1
: [2] [RETURN] Region 2
: [3] [RETURN] Region 3
: [4] [RETURN] Region 4
: [5] [RETURN] Region 5
: [6] [RETURN] Region 6
: [P. MODE] [RETURN] Only play DVD's with the selected region; auto switching
OFF
: [AUDIO] [RETURN] Default Auto switching ON
: [ANGLE] [RETURN] Enable video interference impulses (Macrovision ON)
: [SUBTITLE] [RETURN] Default Disable video interference impulses (Macrovision
OFF)
: [PREV] [RETURN] Enable user operation prohibitions* and access restrictions

DVD region codes are a DRM technique designed to allow motion picture studios to
control aspects of a release, including content, release date, and price,
according to the region. DVD video discs may be encoded with a region code
restricting the area of the world in which they can be played.
It is therefore this US Association that is responsible for the RPC system that
effectively divides the world into six regions for the purposes of controlling
and manipulating distribution within the global DVD market.
There are six different official regions and two informal variations.[citation
needed] DVD discs may use one code, a combination of codes (Multi-Region), most
codes (Region 0) or every code/no codes (Region All). The commercial DVD player
specification requires that a player to be sold in a given place not play discs
encoded for a different region; however, region-free DVD players are also
commercially available. In addition, many DVD players can be modified to be
region-free, allowing playback of all discs. Region code Area 0 Informal term meaning "worldwide". Region 0 is not an official setting; discs that bear the region 0 symbol either have no flag set or have region 1-6 flags set. 1 United States, Canada, Bermuda, U.S. territories 2 Europe (except Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus), Middle East, Egypt, Japan, South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Greenland 3 Southeast Asia, South Korea, Republic of China (Taiwan), Hong Kong, Macau 4 Mexico, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Oceania 5 Afghanistan, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Africa (except Egypt, South Africa, Swaziland, and Lesotho), Central and South Asia, Mongolia, North Korea 6 People's Republic of China, Hong Kong 7 Reserved for future use (found in use on protected screener copies of MPAA-related DVDs and "media copies" of pre-releases in Asia) 8 International venues such as aircraft, cruise ships, etc. ALL Region ALL discs have all 8 flags set, allowing the disc to be played in any locale on any player.
