I have a Sharp flat panel model LC-20SH4U. The units power LED light is red. No effect (sound or picture) when remote or on/off switch is activated. The LED light slightly blinks.

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:

NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.

clip_image001.jpg
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

Hope this may help;

Regards,

My power supply is blinking green light and my PC has no power

plug your pc directly to your wall outlet and see if it turns on. If it works, then the problem is your power supply. If power supply has a reset button, press it and try again. If pc does not turn on when plugged to wall outlet, then power supply for pc may be out.

My son has a ps2 slimline and wants to play on the internet. We have a linksys wireless routher already. Can the slimline be set up to use that or do we need something else

should be able to use linksys but i always just plugged in with a direct ethernet cord connection. you also have to have the online setup disk for ps2 which should have come with the ps2 slimline. just install disk and follow instructions from there! GOOD LUCK!

PS2 Green LED remains on, system won't turn on

have you tried holding down the reset button to turn off your console. Months before I bought my Ps2 I noticed my friends turning off their PS2's using the switch on the back. When i bought mine , months later i was invited to a friends house and noticed when he turned off his ps2 by holding the reset button down for a few seconds. After playing on their trampoline i went home and tried this reset button thing and it worked. Although i had the fat bulky ps2 this trick also works on slimline models too. This should solve your problem. The switch on the back i later found out was for when you wanted to turn off your ps2 during a thunderstorm.

PS2

First off get a network adaptor)if u hav the slimline then it comes with it. Then u need 2 buy a ethernet cable. Now that you hav both turn off ur computer and router and ps2. connect the cable to the back of the router and to the back of the ps2. Then turn the router and modem on. Then turn the ps2 on. Finally place the start-up disk(which was given to you with your ps2) in your ps2 and follow the on screen directions.

Ps2 slim will not power up

usually, there is a problem with a ribbon cable of power/reset switch. Try using a replacement ribbon of the same type.
