Red light!!!! Please help me when i take my iapq to the ac adapter there is red light i cant it turn on in the red place needed be orange. My files from sd card was deleted. Whats the problem and what i need to do?

If light of adapter is green before connecting to computer, and it becomes red/orange, please get your computer's power socket checked it may be partially short.

Solid green or solid orange light: Your power supply is working.

Flashing orange, solid red, or no light: Your power supply may need to be replaced. Try the following solutions:

1. Try plugging your console's power supply into a different electrical outlet. Do not use a surge protector.
2. If the power supply light is solid red or flashing orange, unplug the power supply and let it cool for 30 minutes. Then, plug the power supply back into the outlet.

There is no crack or damage done to it right?
Also try plugging it into the wall dirteclty no surge or power strip and let it lay flat

try the following.

remove the battery and connect the AC adapter

Turn on the camcorder (without battery)

If the camera turn on, maybe you need replace the battery (lifetime one year)

Place the battery sliding it in the direction of the arrow

Connect the AC adapter in Jack (camcorder)

The Led Charger "CHG" lamp lights up. When the battery is charged, the light turn off.

Welcome to Fixya! If the battery light is blinking red,that indicates low power, there's a possibility that the problem is with the AC adapter, or the battery or maybe the DC port itself, please follow these simple steps for you to be able to isolate the exact problem.

1. Removed the battery.

2. Connect the laptop directly to the power outlet without using the battery just for the meantime.

3. Turn on the laptop. If the laptop is able to power on, that means that the AC adapter is working fine as well as the DC port. If the laptop is not able to turn on, it maybe the AC adapter itself or the DC port.

4. Try to use another AC adapter if possible, make sure that that AC adapter is working fine. If the laptop is still not turning on, the problem is with the DC port itself. In that case, you will need to replaced the Motherboard itself.

well if you press the power button and light isnt on check plug connection going into console and then from console it goes back into the ac adapter. make sure its plugged in tight. To make sure ac adapter is working fine there is a small light on the side if it is green it is working fine if it is either orange or red you have a problem and may need a new adapter. If so you can get a new/used one from your local game store. hope this helps and good luck

HI you did not mention is you are able to use the unit even tho the led turns red. If not then the unit is drawing to much current and the power supply is shutting down. Or the power supply is faulty, If you can and know someone with a 360 system try to borrow theirs and see which part of the system is faulty if you know his is good and the same thing happens, or take yours to his house and try, but if same results then the 360 is at fault.

try turning the main swith on and off a few times, then power the front.

try to unplug and plug in a few time otherwis cant help ya never had that problem

if you purchased the xbox within 90 days, then they can have your power supply replaced
if not you need to buy a new one
