My xbox360 turns on and I have audio but there is no picture of any kind.

This could have a few causes. 1. Try running a good quality DVD cleaner as you may have a dirty lens. 2. Check your connections to the TV to see if the cable has come loose. Or 3. Check the wire to see if it is frayed or cut and if it is replace. You can also check by using a different set of jacks on the TV, if equipped, to see if it is a TV problem. Also make sure you have the TV on the proper settings to play as if it's not on the right video input it will play sound but not have a pic. Hope these tips help you. Good luck.

If you've got the version with a DVI input, use a HDMI to DVI cable. That'll take care of picture but not sound. You need to hook up an audio cable that finishes in a 3.5mm stereo jack if you want to use the Benq's speaker.

If you have the older version with just a VGA input then buy an Xbox 360 VGA cable. You'll also need an audio adapter; 2x phono/RCA sockets going to 3.5mm stereo jack.

My Xbox360 elite console is having trouble with audio and video. The Xbox turns on but there is no picture or sound out of the T.V and it does this on every T.v to. How do I fix this problem?
If you have been using the same cord to hook up your console then it might be damaged. I would recommend trying to use a different cord if you can.

HDMI XBOX360 Elite -"No Signal"
The connection order can be a key issue as to whether or not the HDMI signals will pass through the system. For best results the receiver should be turned on first, then the source device(s) and then the display. The reason for this has to do with getting the equipment to handshake properly for the HDCP protocol.

If HDMI video will not pass through your receiver, you may with to just connect the xbox using the component cables. Since component will pass through 720p and your TV is 1080i you should expect the same qualtiy and a more crisp picture.

The analog component video signals (with 480i (NTSC)/576i
(PAL) of resolution only) are converted to the S-video or
composite video signals and output at the VIDEO or S VIDEO
MONITOR OUT jacks.
The question is what kind of signals you get from your HD cable box.
