You have a bad sector on the memory stick.

Download the data to a computer and format the stick.

Good luck.

Photos vanished - but may still be on stick???

Two things you can try. 1. Get a separate card reader and use it to transfer your pics to a folder you create on your desktop. 2. Take the card to a Walmart store that has a Kodak Picture Kiosk machine. There, you can print the pics or even make a cd of them.

I try to take a pic but it says 'no memory space on memory stick' ...even though I just deleted photos via the computer...?!?

Never delete using the computer...the camera doesn't recognize anything the computer does. Now, you need to format the stick in the camera to get it working again.

No memory space in memory stick

You can delete pictures from the camera. You can transfer the pics to your computer, then delete. Plug you camera into your computer, click start/computer/ double click on the drive that accesses your camera. From here, you can drag/drop pics or delete them or format the entire memory stick. If you need all of the pics and do not have a computer, you will need to purchase another memory stick.

Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks.
