NHL 08 for the 360 doesn't ask for a code when you put in the game. I'm presuming it's asking for the code to your gamertag. Enter this code or choose a different gamertag. If you don't know the code, you can select another gamertag (or create a new one) or delete the profile but if you want to keep your save files just choose delete profile (rather than delete profile and everything else).
You can recover this profile later if you have the ID and password (there's a recover gamertag option in the dashboard [press the big X button]).
If you want to delete the profile, go to my xbox then system settings select memory then all devices select gamer profiles and select the one you want and then select delete then delete profile only
I owned that game a few years back, so much fun.
I had a similar problem. I had to get a new copy of it because I lost my old one.
Well when I put it in it wouldn't let me load my old profile, so I took out the memory card, took out the game disc, turned off the PS2. Turned the PS2 back on and let it sit without anything in it for a little while, then I put the memory card back in a different slot, checked to see that my saved games from NFS:MW were still there, and then I put the disc in and it loaded my profile.
This worked for me, but it may be that the serial brands on the two discs are different. Since the release of the PS3, PS2 discs have been made with a back tracking element to allow it to be played on all sony systems in the future. So it may be that your old disc was pre-backtracking and your new disc or post-backtracking. If that is the case, i'd say go to your nearest gaming shop and let them come up with a solution. It's better to get hands on help with stuff like that.
if you wana say that you installed a game on your xbox elite and run on different profile.it works fine
but as you used a differenr xbox but older hdd(elite hard drive).your profile runs but installed games not.
BECAUSE THAT GAME IS NOT ORIGNALY INSTALLED ON THAT DVD DRIVE,you are using.delet it and installed again.onlt game not save files
it will use your save files.
Did you take all of his files and not just the profile? you have to take his saves also cause they are not bound to his profile in anyway except that its only his profile that can use them! try checking your harddrive for them and get them over to his memory stick!
I can't tell you from experience because I have never played that particular game. However any other game i've ever played where you save your progress, there is always a profile or saved game file.
You will want to open My Computer-->C:/ (hard drive)-->Program files--> Ubisoft-->Petz in there you will find a file or folder with an obvious name (user name, profile name, saved game) something along those lines. Save the entire folder if there is one or just the single file to your desktop, reinstall the game....when you reinstall just make sure you put the file or folder back exactly where you found it.
Note:: You may need to start a new profile when you reinstall, afterward just put your saved file back where it belongs for it to work properly. (Sometimes the game needs to create the profile folder or saved game folder in the directory.)
***** Last thing is when you do uninstall the game it may ask you if you want to delete user settings and saved game files. If it does click no, that way you won't have to worry about loosing your stuff at all.
Hope this helps, post back if you need any further assistance. Thank you for choosing Fixya!
youre going to have to reset your phone. go to settings>reset>code(0000) and press yes.
you will ose everything thats saved on your phone, so you might want to put your pics and tones on a computer first.
I have heared that if you just delete the profile, just the profile, everything will be just fine (note: This only works if your profile is on xbox live). Just go to memor, then go into the saving device the corrupted profile is on. Then "click" on the botton that says profile and delete the corrupted profile. Remember; the profile will be a small save and not taking up most of your harddrive, look for something with MB size, not GB size. When you have done this, go to "recover gamertag" and do so for the profile you just deleted. After all this, your game saves and achivements should be present and working.
