Comp is very noisy while running,keeps making whirring sound

Try spinning the drum by hand when empty, the faster the better. Does it sound noisy or is there a grinding sound? It should sound silent or whir as everything turns. If noisy then it may well be the drum bearings. If it clunks then it may be one of the arms that holds the drum in place has broken.

Can be caused by Windows 7, if that's the OS you have. Also check the cooling fans underneath they may be dirty and need cleaning, and make sure it has lots of air flow under the unit to keep it as cool as possible.

Check the tips of the beater bar. I "bumped" mine to hard and broke a tip. Still worked! Just noisy. Called Dyson support and they sent me a new one no charge. Note. Mine had a loud whirring and a vibration.

Sounds like a front wheel bearing assembly. Won't last long if it's that noisy.

They can be noisy, my rodeo sounds like a diesel. But, it might be something else, belt tensioners usually only tap, one time every rpm, valves might make more racket, rods sound like a snare drum under neath the car, check the oil, the sound should be coming from the front of the engine. Water pumps, alternators, ac comp, all can be noisy. Turn off the ac when listening. Watch out for the fan. A long screwdriver or a piece of wood with ear against the end will quickly find a noisy part.

Hi, It sounds to me like the evaporator fan motor is faulty. They will quit working after they make a noise like that, bearings and windings.You have a door switch that stops the fan when you open the door, that opens the contacts on the motor. It should have come back on when closing door. Now you say it has quit cooling,so if this motor has not come back on and is not running quietly, it will need to be removed and replaced.It may be difficult for you if you are going to do this yourself, but if your up to it, you can save yourself some $.You can buy a new one at an appliance parts house, or get all of the info from you're unit and go online to order one.They have universal motors to fit also.It would be a 120volt sealed motor with a plastic or aluminum blade.Try and remove it yourself if you are able, if not you will need to call out the tech which can get costly. if it's a continuous whirring sound it is most likely the cooling fan. this is normal. as the computer gets older this will get noticably louder as the fan has to run faster to prevent overheating.

bad throw out bearing,  You clutch is on the way out.

This is normal.. It is keeping your computer cool when it gets too hot.

Sounds like you have a noisy color wheel. Very common on all Samsung DLP`s. The part # is BP96-00250A for model HLN5065W.
