Your ground wire is going to be black. Your normal wire colors are violet and violet/black, green and green/black, white and white/black, last but not least you have grey and grey/black. Those are your speaker wires. Solid blue is usually to power your antenna, and blue/white is for your amp turn on lead. Those two wires are approximately .5mV of power, and you can actually use either one to turn an amp on. Speakers: normally your solid color is positive, while the black stripe is your negative. As for which one goes to which speaker, left front is white, right front is gray, left rear is green, and right rear is violet. Hope this helps.

well i think your talking about a car cd player most of them are all the same so

red is power when the key is on
yellow is Constant power
black is ground
blue is your remote wire - for amp or power ant
green and the green - black is your left rear speaker
purple and purple - black is right rear speaker
white and white - black is your left frount speaker
gray and gray - black is your right frount speaker

so on the speaker wires with the black runing down them is alway the neg and the solid color is pos

you need to buy the wiring harness that is for your car then you can just hook the harness to your deck and plug it in to the car,unless your wires in your dash are all cut up,in that case you need a tester light.ground the light on somthing and look for the wire that lights up when the car is turned off,this is your battery back-up it goes to yellow on the deck,next look for a wire that has power with your ihgnition and loses power when ignition is off,this one goes to the red on the deck,look for a ground they are usually black but test it for power cause that would blow your fuse,or make your own by drilling a hole somewhere in the chassis and attach to black wire on deck,as for speakers you will prob need to remove front speakers,look at the colors and these are the same as colors youll see where deck is,then check back speaker wire colorwhich also runs to your dash

Yellow - Battery+
Black - Ground/Chassis
Orange/White - Illumination
Blue - Power Antenna
Blue/White - Amp remote wire
Brown - Celluar phone mute lead

Speakers:

Front Right - +Grey -Grey/Black
Frount Left - +White -White/Black
Rear Right - +Purple -Purple/Black
Rear Left - +Green -Green/Black

Your installation manual is not anywhere to be found since the product you are inquiring about was made 1985-87... however, by deduction, you can figure it out yourself...

You need a Power 12V Constant.
A 12V Switched
A Ground
And Signal Cables.

Reply with the wire colors available to you, and I will tell you what is what.

Yellow is usually constant 12V.
Red is Ususally switched 12V.
Black Is Ground.

RCAs are self explanitory.

If your EQ has HI Level outputs, the color scheme is a little more complicated.

red= accessories power on
yellow= power always on memmory
black= ground
blue white= amp switch this goes to amp
blue= power antenna
the other wires are speaker wires top is for the fronts
the bottom set is for the back speakers this is simple
suggestion if you dont know the wire hook up i suggest taken the wires and sterio to certified car sterio installer pay 5 bucks and have them splice the wires together for you so you dont screw up your vehicle wireing or your sterio this is crucial
