When I wash blue jeans, towels, blankets, anything other than lightweight garments on gentle the washer walks across the floor during the spin cycle. I have had warranty service come out four times in the past two years to try and fix it and it still does it. I can not leave this machine alone, because of the noise it makes and the washer walking. When they came out in Aug 09 they adjusted the front legs and added these Velcro discs to the legs and my floor to keep it from traveling. I was told that this is common for this model and there was nothing more he could do to fix the problem. Well I just walked away from it and the discs were ripped up from the floor and the washer was pushed up against the water-heater. Thank God it didn’t push it over or we would have had water damage. What do you suggest I do about the problem?
I suppose that the repairmen would know than I would, but I do know that any washing machine that is not level will walk and vibrate and really shutter on the spin cycle. I would try to level (using a level on the top part of the machine that is flat, if there is such a portion) the machine so that all four feet (pads) are secure with their locking nuts up against the body so that they can't turn and cause the machine to go out of level.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
