My mp3 player is frozen

Its frozen on a song and it wont play and it won't turn off and nothing works. none of the buttens work and the light won't go off. its just frozen. hey, all of this is helpful because i held the power button on my sansa down for like 10 sec and it worked. but i kinda want to know why i dont have any files now. its not a big problem bc i just got it today and i dont have to restart (lucky me), i just kinda want to stop it from happining again. I swear it hates me!

Just wait let the battery die down and leave it near a cool area so it wont burn out or anything. so just let the battery die down and it'l turn off then plug it into ur comp to charge it up again!

Just hold the power button until it turns off. It worked for me.

Midway through playing a song my ipod has frozen and none of the buttons are working. Nothing happens when I connect it to my PC via USB. The screen is still on but it has frozen.

Hi,

problem can be solved.

Before connecting the phone to the computer, did you scan for virus?, it not, that means the mp3 player has been affected by virus that is what makes the mp3 player freezes.

The mp3 players memory has been lost due to virus in it and can be restored by flashing it.

Flashing the mp3 will restore the lost memory.

After flashing the mp3 player, the lost memory will be restored and it will come on normally.

Take care.

Creative zen v problems-frozen

If a reset does not work using the reset hole, then try this: First, back up all of your music and do this: Turn off the player and disconnect it from the computer. Then press and hold the play/puse button and turn it on simultaneously. The player should be in recovery mode. Scroll down and select format (all) and let it format. Then reload all of music back onto your player and it should work like new. Hope this helps!

My mp3 player is frozen

Plug it in to the computer with the USB cable, use a paperclip to push the reset button inside the top hole, and then press the power button.

Player frozen

Sounds like the processor inside got fried.

There is a reset button on the back, just below the label. Press that in with a paper clip and see if anything happens.
