Question about Ariston Technologies Ovens

Whilst working, my Ariston oven ventilator tangential fan motor at times produces an intermittent metallic noise, as if metal is touching with metal. What could this be, and how can this annoying noise be eliminated . Thank you so much - Robert

    1) Whilst Working? - Sorry, perhaps I did not explain clearly, but since the subject of the sentence is the fan it is pretty obvious that the fan was working and not me !

Whilst Working? An explanation of what you were doing would be extremely helpful.

#1) If it sounds like metal on metal, chances are its METAL ON METAL.

#2) Its pretty obvious you didn't make graduate highschool, let me explain this as simple as possible so you don't hurt yourself trying to read it.

#3) Your fan (thing that blows) probably caught a wire (metal string), or was altered slightly and is now hitting a metal ventilator (sponge) which is installed near the fan on this particular model.

My Bosch (hbn13b251b) bottom oven and light is not turning on intermittently. Sometimes when I resetting the breakers it's comes back and works perfectly. What part do I need to replace? Thanks,
You may have some of the wiring that it exposed to metal. It nay be touching and turning it off. It may be slight and only does this when the oven is bumped. I don't understand when you say the oven and light is not turning on intermittently. It should not turn on intermittently to start with.

Oven shuts off with Error Code 4d21
This problem points to the controller card not functioning properly. It will need to be replaced. Here is a link so you can get the owner's manual:

How to unlock the hinge on an Ariston Oven Door with door off

To Unlock the hinge on an Ariston Oven Door

Lay the oven door flat on the worktop with the inner door upwards and the locked hinge facing you.


With a pair of pliers and a good grip on the hinge, force the locked hinge towards you (by pulling it open towards you) and keep it in position by flipping the U piece over.


Fitting the Oven Door

Fit the door to the oven with the metal receivers in the slots on the oven.


Once the receivers are in the slot, fully open the door (in a downward position).


Flip the U shaped pieces over to lock the hinges.

Aslight metal rubbing noise in the top lincoln impringer 1450 natural gas coming from themotor or fan side.openad with screwdriver the 13 screws etc to removed gaurd copver so that maybe i could see...
most likly the fault is the fan blades touching the side of the circular hole,to test.1.switch of all power.2.when power is switched of try switching your oven to on position.if oven will not work then proceed3.if you can turn the fan blades by useing a thin piece of wood or simler.4 if when you turn the blades you hear a rubbing noise you might take a closer look if you have torch point it in if you see the blades touching or one of the blades touching it might be possable to to push the offending blade back very slightley useing the same piece of wood you yoused at 3.if this fails to solve your problem the fan moter might be ready to give up. I hope this can solve your problem.yours adrian.

Loud droning noise from fan.
You are correct in assuming that is a noisy fan bearing, only solution is to replace the motor complete unfotunately.

I have an electrolux icon double wall oven. I turned on the self-clean function for 3hrs and it making a very loud noise during the cleaning process. Is that normal?
yes, if the humming is not the loud sound then the fan may need some lubrication or if it is tripping the circuit it will need replacing , but if it seems like it is a viberating noise from the fan , then it could be that its bearings are bad , but the whole fan motor would still need to be replaced , but if it sounds like it just may be a loose fan motor , then tightening up the screws on the motor would stop the vibrating sound and or the fan blades from scraping metal( another sound you may be hearing )

Fan assisted oven keeps going off ?
there is an overheat stat and this is cutting the oven off
things to check are.
is casing fan running ok? (this is the tangential fan inside the casing at the back and not the fan inside the fan oven)
this second fan is turned on by a fan stat. maybe this is faulty
is there plenty of ventilation?
is oven in fact overheating?
