I have a ps5 console that comes with a 4k 8k 2.1 HDMI cable. I ran a test on the cable just to see what result it was via the tv. I got a result saying to swap out HDMI if you want to run higher resolution...

Hi... the only thing I can tell you with this is the gray checkerboard comes for two main motivation, first a problem in the ps5 not making the game load correctly or if you broke the tv. I experienced it once and one of my family member hit the tv and the tv just kept on gray.

What is the difference between UHD and 4K tv

Ultra HD and 4K difference...Technically, "Ultra High Definition" is actually a derivation of the 4K digital cinema standard. However while your local multiplex shows images in native 4096 x 2160 4K resolution, the new Ultra HD consumer format has a slightly lower resolution of 3840 X 2160...Hope this helps

I have a pc133 ram and i think its a 156kb ram. i need at least 1gb of DDR ram. what ram can i use?

rst, KNOW THE NUMBER OF REFRESH CYCLES YOUR MOTHERBOARD SUPPLIES! This is dependant on the chip set on you motherboard and the chip set initialization code in you BIOS. (Theoretically, depending on the limitations of your motherboard chip set hardware, the BIOS initialization code could be changed to use a higher refresh number allowing all available DIMMs to work together. I have never done this so, it is just a theory.)

Second, ASK THE VENDOR (OR MANUFACTURER) HOW MANY REFRESH CYCLES ARE REQUIRED FOR THE DIMMs YOU ARE CONSIDERING PURCHASING! This will tell you immediately if the memory will work in your system or not. There is no magic about it. Ask if the memory requires 1k, 2k, 4k, 8k, or 16k memory refresh cycles.

If the number of refresh cycles required by the DIMM is the same or less than the number that your motherboard supplies, the memory will work just fine. If it is more than your motherboard supplies, you will only "see" part of the memory on the DIMM. Additionally, any other DIMMs in the system may not be recognized at all. No Good!!!

Sony digital tv KD 32DX40U wont pick up digital signal

The tv is a 2k model - I have the same one, digital is now 8k so it won't work digitally anymore.

2K Equipment
  • All 2K-only products will stop working with the introduction of the 8K transmission mode at switchover.
  • 2K-only set-top boxes cannot be upgraded, but 2K-only IDTVs can be updated by adding a current set-top box or digital TV recorder.
  • A full list of affected models is on the Digital UK website at www.digitaluk.co.uk/2kequipment.
