The bulbs in the unit are actually going out. Some DLP tvs use specific bulbs that can only be picked up by the manufacture. Some mom and pop shops carry DLP bulbs. Your best bet is to call the manufacture or search for the model online using WWW.GOOGLE.COM to purchase these bulbs. These bulbs should always be installed by a certified repair specilaist.
