Use the CD/DVD label maker program your burner should come with (or some other one). Create the CD/DVD label however you want, just don't be too extravagant... it may not come out very nice. Put your lightscribe CD/DVD media label-side down (upside down) into the tray and print away. Then you wait, wait, wait, and wait some more. Afterwards, you'll probably want to actually put some data on that disc.

There are currently two ways to get exPressit. The first is to enter http://www.memorex.com/PageFiles/1220/exPressit.zip into your browser and accept the download. The other is to visit http://www.memorex.com/en-us/Accessories/Disc-Labeling/CDDVD-LabelMaker-Expert/LabelMaker-CDDVD-Labe lMaker-Expert/ and click on the exPressit link.

Unfortunately the Memorex LabelMaker ExpressIt Label Design Studio software is only compatible with Windows 98SE, Me, 2000, and XP.

If you install Boot Camp, you can install Windows and use this software in a virtual computer. (However, you need a licensed copy of Windows.)

There are third party video editing software packages that have label design components (Roxio Toast is one package.) The Memorex labels should be compatible with some of these programs.

sorry to inform but you dont print on CD.
You print on paper and then paste it on CD :-)
That's called "label" printing.

Hmmmmmm, Maybe flip your paper over? And print on the side its supose to print on?

If the center pops out you should pop it out. This labels are a bad idea in most cases and cause more harm than benefit. They come loose and get jammed. If its important to you buy a Lightscribe burner and DVDS.

I have just read the comments and was thinking about taking mine back for exactly the same reasons. Then I asked my 12 year old!! She clicked on the text and got a drop down list and then hit cut object - it worked - the sample text disappeared!! Worth a try.
