The question here is how long did you leave the breaker off? Gaggenau ovens have a memory and I always advise turn the oven off for 5 mins before turning the breaker back on. Give that a try. The first thing the oven does when the power is reapplied is go thru a test phase which included locking and unlocking the door. The key symbol will go on and off during this. Sometimes you have to also can run a self clean then cancel it to reset the lock. This works as well.

I have the same problem and the technician came out and took the oven out. He couldn't figure out was wrong and will need to contact the manufacturer technician to help him with the diagnosis of the problem. In the meantime, he says it looks like my modem is not working and may not be responding to the commands that would normally remove the key lock after a power outage.

Sorry, can't be reset - you'll need to pay the big bucks to have a technician out to assess, make sure you tell him your model number so that he can do his homework prior to coming out, that way you're not paying alot of money that I had to for this tech to figure things out. He took one hour and charged me $120 with no fix and will have to come back anyway.
