We were given a kenmore coldspot 106.9505782 with the doors detached. It has a water spicket outside the freezer door with the water line coming up through the freezer door pivot that has been cut at an angle or disconnected. How do I attach this line and hang the door? Thanks
I had the same problem and I would like to replace the whole line inside the door, it was best to get a double sided connector from an appliance parts store. The part cost me about 7 bucks. I then had to So far so good and when cut a small piece out of the front guard where the connector goes. you take off the front guard, measure where the tube broke. The connector comes off when you push one side down.Cut the edge of tube to have a straight edge, but just a little at a time. Just a clean straight edge, it does not have to be perfect!! I used a small pair of needle nose pliers to pull the bit of hose down from the freezer side and then i used my connectors. It just takes a little time and effort. Let me know what happens!!

I have the same problem with a GE side-by-side refrigerator.
The water line to the H2O dispenser has been cut at the door pivot point...
We can't figure out how to replace the line inside the door. Any advice?

Sorry about the typo error,,but where it begins above w/ ("so far so good and when") was a typo that i forgot to correct. The sentence or words before that should read, I then had to cut a small piece out of the front guard etc, etc, ...good luck!
I was able to take door a part and run whole new line. Wasn't easy because of foam but I was able to attach new line to old and pull old line which brought new line through foam. Basically what midnite owl did. Have not had a problem since. Except the shelves on the frig side, right side wants to come off. I took that door a part and put wedges between foam and the plastic to bring shelve pins closer together to hold shelves. Still if the shelves are just right they come off. I can't spread plastic and foam any farther. Pain in my pa toot.
