Could be the computer did not like the change in ratio if the size of the tires are different. You would need to get the trouble codes checked to proceed.

The hood release is by the drivers left foot rest. To find the release under the hood look at the front grill where the grill starts to bend down on the drivers side under the hood is the release handle.
Just had starter changed on Mini Cooper S '06. Tried to start the car after come back from shop and: outside and dash lights are flashing, window goes up and down but the engine wont start. Help solving this mistery.
Most diagnostic garages will reset this for you at a cost! normally £30-£40. albeit this should be done as normal after a routine service! there is a way of cheating by crossing over certain pins on your diagnostic plug, but i DO NOT recommend this, one false move and you could compromise the ECU.... costing a shed load more money!
