This set should still be under a manufacturers warranty. This set has a board that is very hard to get. Do not let them tell you to wait, or you will wait and not get the set repaired. You need to call and have them repair or have them replace the set before the warranty runs out. If you do you will have a hunk of junk.. Good Luck
I unscrewed all the screws in the back, detached the tv from the base, and was able to get the back off. I ordered a new power supply board and will install it to see if it fixes the problem with the tv (won't turn on, insignia light alternates between red and blue). I didn't notice any problems with "swollen" capacitors, so if the new power board fixes the problem I'll update this website.
