Most likely, a number of capacitors need to be replaced in the power supply on this set, OR possibly, there is a bad connection on a connection on the snubber capacitor in the power supply, near the SMT transformer--and I have seen this MANY times on westinghouse LCD sets. .
Wow everyone says replace parts. Mine did the same after 10 minutes until I "reset to manufacturer specifications" which is available on the menu screen. Have been watching for 2 hours now and works perfectly fine. Sorta makes me think everyone posting here works for tv parts places.
Well 2 or 3 more hours of watching and then next day after 10 minutes it turned off so my "reset" idea may be a bit out of tune here. I did notice on another post that just a small vibration turns it off sometimes so I am going to take it apart and look for this "j" solder area which sounds like could be the issue.
