I have the same problem and I took the coffee maker apart to find out why. It has to do with a leak on a fitting. On mine I found that the fitting where the hole in the black plastic that the water flows through to get into the stainless steel tank needed to be repaired with some silicone sealant to fix the leak. Still making some coffee!

Water leaks out the back of my bunn coffee maker. i took it a part and cleaned it but it did not help, is there anything else i can do?

Take top off by unpluging machine then removing the 2 screws where you add water.
Pry lid off ( where you pour water with a knife)
Remove 4 screws that hold top on.
Check this tank for leaks at sink.
inspect rest of plumbing and look at the brass pipe that goes into the tank and has 2 wires into it. The gasket / and washer here might be eroded or damaged.
possible to fix if you get the right parts.

My Bunn coffeemaker is leaking water after it stops brewing and the coffee doesn't seem to get as hot as it once did. It also only gives back 4 cups for a 6 cup brew.

if you unscrew the top there's a rubber seal in there that you might have to replace that causes the leaks. also clean your coffee maker regularly with vinegar.
my husband had to replace the seal in ours 4 times but after owning the same Bunn for 20 yrs it was time for a new one

When I put in, 6 cups of water, if the 10 cup Bunn coffee maker after it has sat overnight, it only expels about 4 - 4.5 cups. I don't think it can all be evaporating or being absorbed in the grounds can...

look for water leaks around pot. Otherwise do a daytime brew to compare your difference between the amount poured in and what comes out. Please note that less water should mean using less ground coffee. Suggest 1 heaping table spoon per brewed cup.

Bunn 10 cup home coffee maker

It sounds like a seal/gasket is defective causing it to leak. Please locate the model and date code on the bottom of the brewer and contact customer service for troubleshooting and replacement options.

Bunn coffee maker leaks all over the counter. What

there's probably a 'silicon rubber' hose that feeds hot water to the 'grounds basket'- it may be loose, or damaged. is it leaking water, or coffee?? we have a bunn 8-cup, which has a pre-heated water tank that brews a pot in about 3 min. energy waster, but when you need coffee, you need coffee!!! is your filter holder properly centered? is the carafe lid hole clean and un-obstructed?
if it's leaking water, and not too costly to replace- you may consider replacing it with a new one!
good luck!

Water leaks out from underneath coffee maker

Well they don;t give these away for sure. Lets see if we can help you out. ? are you over filling it.This happened to me because I was reading the fill line wrong. {got new glasses} . If not may be you could try makeing less. But if only 1/2 cup comes out and no more, that wouldent indacate a leak in the tank, if there was it would all leak. Try backing off on the coffie and water, and see if it still leaks. if it does get back to me. DFD
