GO910 loss of USA map

The original maps for this unit were supplied by Destinator, who have no ceased business. It is doubtful that nay other maps will work on this as they have not been made to operate with the TN30 engine.

Time to move on! 3.5 screens are obsolete also, most manufacturers are only interested in the 4.5 and 5" screen format now .

Contact MOTOROLA SUPPORT and ask them what they suggest

Since you TomTom only has a 1 gb flash drive you will have to remove the map of England to put the map of France on your TomTom One Third Edition. Make sure you make a backup of your map of England or you will have to purchase a new map of England Do not use TomTom Home to do this simply make a new folder on your desktop. Connect your TomTom to the PC. Next go to "My Computer" and open the drive of your TomTom. After opening the drive of your TomTom copy your map of England and paste it into the new folder you made on your desktop. When you are ready to put the map of England back onto your TomTom just copy and paste the map of France into the new folder and copy and paste the map of England back into your TomTom.

depends on which TomTom Go you have (maps preloaded only go700 and go910 no memory card slot)

Tap Change preferences in the Main Menu.

then Tap "Turn off map display" button to turn off the map. Instead of seeing your position on a map in the Driving View, you will only see information about the next instruction.

It is probably your internal battery and needs replacement. There is a menu function to not shutdown when loss of power (under battery preference, after screen save). If you don't use the battery, try this.

You have the option of unchecking items you don't want installed and updated every time you connect to TomTom Home. Reset the entire unit and update again to fix the error

The 730, unlike the 930, doesn't come with European maps preloaded. You can find the most up to date Tele Atlas maps of the UK & Europe over at TomTom's Map Store.

There will be two maps.

try NERO software...you will be able to go back and forth (pal or ntsc)...this might be a project / but you can also make into a very fun thing....(note also the DVD regions)

maybe you need to go to the settings click on map and click restore. If that does not work click map info and and see if it shows you two different maps. Hope that helps.
