GE spacemaker XL1400 stops heating

Purchased unit in 12/1998 magnitron failed 3 times. Warranty worked in 5/2003 for the diode and magnitron @ $141.95 for repair . Failed again in 10/2006, replaced magnitron with warranty @ $185 for repair. Unit's magnitron died again 10/2009. Obvious problem with a non-standard magnitron. We must give up at some point.

well randy you might want to check the diode and cap with a meter first before getting the mag tube. if both of those parts are fine. replace the tube.
