My camera will not turn on. I have had no problems with it. I don't know how old the batteries are, i have charged them, and the camera still will not turn on. I have kept it in great condition.

Remove the battery from the camera, put it into the supplied battery charger, and plug the battery charger into a power outlet. The charging is complete when the light on the charger turns from orange to green.
This could be caused by a short circuit in the camera. As the camera is only two months old, don't recommend that you try fixing this yourself. Instead contact Olympus directly to inquire of warranty repair. If you live in the US, here's the contact info.
Sometimes the batteries for these camcorders just go bad. There's nothing you can do to fix the battery itself, but you can find them really cheap online. If you don't think the battery is bad, and you just don't know how to charge the battery, you can find the manual on Panasonic's site. You can click support, and there will be a place to enter the model number. It will be on the camera, probably on the bottom. If you enter a model number that doesn't fetch results, try a different number (or combination of letters and numbers) until it does find results for your camera. Most of these small cameras have a small door, or attached cap that you have to pop up and open with your fingernail (they are small, so look carefully, most likely around the bottom or back of the camera). Plug the charger in and wait to see if the battery charges. If it does, the Palmcorder will stop turning off a few seconds after you turn it on.
Ok all mine had the same problem however problem has been solved! The power cord that plugs into the charger is a common cord you may have laying around the house. I switched the power cord to my charger and the dreaded blinking stopped! Its just a bad power cord to the charging unit! Hope this helps!
The voltage across a battery isn't really the thing to look for. It's the amperage available from the battery which counts. An almost flat battery can still read it's correct votage but as soon as a load is put on the battery, as when you turn on your camera, the voltage could well drop to almost nothing. Your charger could say that your battery is charged and ready to go but due to old age and many charge cycles or even a cell dying could cause insufficient amperage to turn the camera on.
What I recommned is borrowing a battery pack from a friend if you know someone with the same model camera and trying it or even buy a new battery from Ebay (they are cheap enough), charge it for the recommended 15 hours for the first charge and try it. If the camera operates correctly your problem is solved and believe me a large percentage of camera problems are caused by dud batteries.
If this approach doesn't work then a trip to the repair shop may be in order.
yeah if you have had it for that long the batteries might be dead even if the appear to be charged i would get new batteries or get a new camera get one cheap on eBay ! have a good day :)
Hi there i can 't get your these word." camera charger is blue, used battery and new,". Please let me know the battery is new or or its old? If its old then the battery life is finished. Thats why he can't store the power.
Thanks.
Even though the camera shows that the battery is charged it could still be that the battery is faulty. If you don't want the needless expense of buying a new battery just to find the fault is with the camera after all, try rigging up a test circuit with a piece of wire and a low voltage light bulb from a torch or fairy lights. If the bulb lights up then the battery should be OK. (Make sure the bulb works with another normal 9v battery you know is good.)
I just tried this with my camera battery and an old dud battery I had to scrap and the bulb lights up with the good battery as expected.
Charging LED Red LED is on = Being charged Red LED is blinking = Charging error Green LED is on = Charging is complete
● If the charge indicator blinks as red, it indicates a battery charging error. - The battery is not properly inserted - The terminals of battery are dirty or damaged If the battery is inserted properly and the charge indicator continues to blink, contact the nearest Samsung Camera Service Center.
If the charging LED doesn't turn to green could mean a signal that the battery is bad or can't charge 100% anymore = too old, needs a new battery. Hope this helps.
