My husband purchased this camcorder from a friend (moving sale) and it did not include the cords to transfer video to computer. What could I do, where can I buy the attachment?

I had this same issue. I solved it. The USB cable will NOT work to transfer video. You need a IEEE-1395 fire wire cable. I purchased the internal card and cable for under $20.00 for my DELL computer direct from dell. After you connect your camcorder to your computer, I clicked on windows photo gallery. Then in top left corner, click file and "import from camera or scanner. Your camcorder must be on video mode and play mode. Your computer should recognize the camcorder, click on it and then it will give you options, like you can upload and record direct onto DVD. I liked the option of uploading manually because if there are blank sections on the DV tape, the computer will stop uloading. Hope this helps.
Hello, well with your camera you down-load the film by cable (mostly hi fi red/blue/white to the PC, you should put a new formated DVD disk in PC and go to windows media, there you should be able to make movie.
If you are looking for cables for JVC GR-D370 camcorder, then click JVC Accessories Store to see list of related accessories. And if camcorder is different model and make, let me know to find out for you. Thanks.
This camcorder should not require a driver in order to capture the footage. Start up your capture software, power-up the camera in VCR mode and then connect the Firewire cable. It should then allow you to playback the tape and capture the contents. Here is the manual online: http://resources.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/94/LYT1353-001A.pdf If you need a simple program to capture the footage look to: http://www.virtualdub.org/
Your video-editing software (including Windows Movie Maker) should also capture the footage.
