Sounds like you lost the power supply to guns, now this doen't mean you have to go looking for it, you will need a repair person to fix it. Word of advise, if you haven't had one of these fixed before it can range in upwards of 600.00 or more to fix now days.
Ok, do you have a volt meter, ohm meter & 20 mhz scope? You will need these items just begin to try and isolate where the problem is. In addition you will need to have a background in electronics. Its not as simple as you may think when it comes to these type of televisions. If it was a flat panel or even a simple table top tv you could check out the two or three boards inside the tv and maybe find the problem, but with this tv it don't work that way.
If your daughter needs a tv look on craigslist.com, select the area you live in. I have found several there for people I know that needed one but couldn't afford it.
