Microwave whirlpool model AVM 240 - plate problem

What problem, I wonder....

If you need a new one, You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number from the tag on the oven here.

If yours is not turning, it may be grease under the plate or in the motor, a bad motor or coupler, or a problem with the control circuit board that supplies its power.

I would especially suspect the board if you're recently had trouble with the cooktop lights.

when the display say CAL, you have to calibrate first,
how to do this is: push on the left (cancel) button and hold it till it starts

I have a Whirlpool AVM 230 360 microwave but no instruction on how to use it.

You should be able to download your owner's manual (instructions for use) here.

Enter either all or part of the model number of the appliance (e.g. AFG 549) or the 12 digit numeric code, (usually starting with 85) that can be found on the service sticker of your appliance.

Having contacted Whirlpool UK, they at fisrt stated that this unit was not produced for thr UK (English speaking) market and that no manual in english existed. However, after we finished speaking a very resourceful lady at the Whirlpool head office found one and has mailed me a PDF. If you would care to mail me at [email protected] I will foreward it on to you :-D
